КИЇВ. 28 жовтня. УНН. Оператор лотерей “М.С.Л.” вже більше 15 років є спонсором масштабного кінофестивалю “Молодість” і щороку вручає переможцю конкурсу 10 тис. доларів. Про це розповів директор з маркетингу “М.С.Л.” Павло Вайсеро“, передає УНН з посиланням на газету “Азарт”. “Якщо придивитись до досвіду успішних кіно виробників світу, не складно помітити системну підтримку вітчизняного кінематографу з боку державних лотерей. Подивіться уважніше на титри англійських фільмів, і ви побачите, що там обов’язково буде присутня національна лотерейна компанія. А чим ми гірші? Адже кіно — це своєрідна візитівка країни. І оскільки „М.С.Л.“ завжди була і є соціально орієнтованою компанією, ми не можемо стояти осторонь процесу українського кіновиробництва. А поки на державному рівні досі вирішуються питання цільового фінансування нашого кіно, ми продовжуємо свою давню традицію — фінансуємо „Гран-прі“ фестивалю. За весь період від „М.С.Л.“ надійшло на цей захід вже 160 000 дол. Я б сказав, що „Молодість“ — це стан душі”, — зазначив П.Вайсеро. За словами П.Вайсеро, вже понад 15 років оператор державних лотерей є спонсором “Молодості” і, попри шалені зміни курсу валют, щороку вручає незмінні 10 тис. доларів головному переможцеві конкурсу. “Для „М.С.Л.“ така послідовність є змогою надати дієву і, що важливо, цілком адресну допомогу державі, зокрема, дуже важливій її галузі — кінематографу”, — додав він. Як повідомляв УНН, 27 жовтня кінофестиваль “Молодість” досяг екватора.

As a film critic of medium-low importance, one of my most sacred duties is participating in the Washington Area Film Critics Association (WAFCA) year-end awards extravaganza. During this hallowed time of year, I watch dozens of movies and mine my own recollection of the good, the bad, and the ugly to determine what, precisely, the best films of the year were. At the end of this grueling process—this death march through endless stacks of DVDs, searching for the rarest pearl in an ever-increasing sea of muck—we WAFCA members nominate up to five films/people in each category. The five films/people who earn the most votes in every category are then voted upon by the whole of the membership, the winners are chosen, the press release is sent out, and blessed, blessed relief descends upon us as we put the exercise to rest for 11 months.
