The festivals director Stefan Laudyn said 15 productions, including Polish films such as Andrzej Jakimowskis One time in November, and Urszula Antoniaks Between Words, as well as productions from Sweden, Slovenia, Iran, Russia and China were entered in an international competition.
A Free Spirit prize for experimental cinema and documentary and shorts awards would also be announced during the festival.
