Побывать в настоящем повстанческом убежище или посидеть на кухне УПА теперь можно в селе Антоновцы на Тернопольщине. Там обустроили музей открытым небом. Его создали специально к 75-й годовщине основания УПА. В густом лесу неподалеку Антоновцев кипит работа. Около 20 активистов строят повстанческое убежище. "Сейчас есть представители двух организаций — Молодежного националистического конгресса и Пласта. Приехали помочь создавать объект музея "Штаб УПА Волынь — Юг", — рассказал активист "Пласт" Николай Бигус. Стены строят опытные строители. Впрочем, чтобы работа шла быстрее, помогают также работники местного отдела культуры. В 1946 году в лесах возле села Антоновцы состоялся один из крупнейших боев Украинской повстанческой армии против НКВД. Тогда от деревни, где жило более тысячи человек, осталось только три хижины. 10 лет назад у Антоновцев построили деревянный дом, который стал и музеем, и штабом УПА. А вот укрытия здесь не было, поэтому активисты решили воссоздать быт УПА. Хотим разработать такой целый комплекс чтобы как можно больше туристов сюда были привлечены, чтобы и дети где-то могли ознакомиться с историей. Кроме того, здесь смогут вести экскурсии об истории нашего края и этой битвы, — отметил начальник отдела семьи и молодежи Тернопольской ОГА Игорь Черный. Из областного бюджета на музей под открытым небом выделили полмиллиона гривен. Кроме укрытия, пекарни и конюши, здесь также планируют обустроить аллею памяти с именами всех павших бойцов и проложить каменную дорогу, чтобы экскурсионные автобусы могли подъехать к комплексу.

As a film critic of medium-low importance, one of my most sacred duties is participating in the Washington Area Film Critics Association (WAFCA) year-end awards extravaganza. During this hallowed time of year, I watch dozens of movies and mine my own recollection of the good, the bad, and the ugly to determine what, precisely, the best films of the year were. At the end of this grueling process—this death march through endless stacks of DVDs, searching for the rarest pearl in an ever-increasing sea of muck—we WAFCA members nominate up to five films/people in each category. The five films/people who earn the most votes in every category are then voted upon by the whole of the membership, the winners are chosen, the press release is sent out, and blessed, blessed relief descends upon us as we put the exercise to rest for 11 months.
