"Братья Гадюкины" концертом поздравили защитников Авдеевки Руслан Смещук Пока одни военные на передовой отбивают атаки боевиков - которые, к слову, не прекращаются, их побратимы в нескольких километрах от лини фронта принимают поздравления. Руслан Смещук побывал сегодня и на позициях под Авдеевкой и в самом фронтовом городе. Авдеевская промзона. Место постоянных боев и обстрелов. Позиции военных и боевиков здесь совсем рядом. Но сегодня можно подобраться поближе. Сегодня здесь - затишье. "- Вот за той красной стеной находятся позиции боевиков. Тут дистанция - метров 100 - 150. Сейчас здесь относительно тихо, звучат одиночные выстрелы и взрывы. Но для пром.зоны эта ситуация очень спокойная. Возможно это связанно с работой наблюдателей ОБСЕ - на той стороне. Впрочем, есть места - где враг еще ближе. Можно, не то что гранатами перебрасываться - даже слышать друг друга. "- За 20 метрів. За 20, не за 50, не за 100 - це їхні найближчі позиції. Як часто підходять? Ответку даєте? Ну по різному буває - іноді хочуть спровокувати". Уже через несколько минут промка начинает греметь. На позиции военных прилетает подствольная граната - после чего завязывается короткая перестрелка. В день защитника Украины - защитникам промки устроили сюрприз. К ним приехала одна из самых старых украинских рок-команд - "Братья Гадюкины". Рокеры устроили эксклюзивный концерт для военных. Конечно не на самой промке - но всего лишь в нескольких километрах. В благодарность солдаты подарили музыкантам флаг промбергов. "А куди нам треба було їхати, в пивбар? Ясно що сюди нам требо було - до воїнів їхати. І ми сьогодні будемо мати іще один концерт, і завтра. Могли б по три концерти в день давати - давали. Це ж наші захисники", - говорит Игорь Мельничук, участник рок-группы "Братья Гадюкины". А это уже центр Авдеевки. Тут по случаю Дня защитника Украины устроили торжества. Дети и взрослые поздравляли военных. "- Наш стрій? - Характерники! - Наше гасло? - За волю та народ!" Военные на радость местной детворе выкатили несколько бронемашин и другую технику. К поздравлениям защитников Украины присоединяется и съемочная группа.

As a film critic of medium-low importance, one of my most sacred duties is participating in the Washington Area Film Critics Association (WAFCA) year-end awards extravaganza. During this hallowed time of year, I watch dozens of movies and mine my own recollection of the good, the bad, and the ugly to determine what, precisely, the best films of the year were. At the end of this grueling process—this death march through endless stacks of DVDs, searching for the rarest pearl in an ever-increasing sea of muck—we WAFCA members nominate up to five films/people in each category. The five films/people who earn the most votes in every category are then voted upon by the whole of the membership, the winners are chosen, the press release is sent out, and blessed, blessed relief descends upon us as we put the exercise to rest for 11 months.
