20 октября в столице впервые состоится благотворительный бал защитников Украины. В рамках мероприятия проведут аукцион, средства от которого пойдут на создание музея АТО в Умани. Главная экспозиция музея будет посвящена погибшему Герою Украины Андрей Кизило. На паркет Колонного зала КГГА, где состоится бал защитников, выйдут бойцы и ветераны АТО, волонтеры, журналисты, военное руководство ВСУ и добровольцы. Для участников боевых действий вход бесплатный, а для всех остальных – 100 гривен. Начало действа – 16:00. В рамках бала будет проведен аукцион. Среди лотов: 1. Полтавский художник Юрий Шаповал, картины "Белая" и "Черная", размышления о сущности событий, природы и явлений, 160х120 см. Стартовая цена 10 000 грн 2. Фотокнига Дмутра Муравского "Через войну. Взгляд волонтера" с подписями героев книги, бойцов АТО и волонтеров. Стартовая цена 10 000 грн. 3. Фотокнига "Война глазами ТСН", с автографами авторов. Стартовая цена 5 000 грн. 4. Фотосессия у известного фотографа-портретиста, Романа Николаева, Студия R-18, уникальная технология амбротипия (с использованием серебра и авторского стекла). Стартовая цена 25 000 грн. 5. Артиллерийская гильза, расписанная вручную волонтером Еленой Вовк (лот от ресторана "Патриот"). Стартовая цена от 1 000 грн. 6. Варенье "Вишня от да Винчи". Лот от Виолетты Киртоки. As a film critic of medium-low importance, one of my most sacred duties is participating in the Washington Area Film Critics Association (WAFCA) year-end awards extravaganza. During this hallowed time of year, I watch dozens of movies and mine my own recollection of the good, the bad, and the ugly to determine what, precisely, the best films of the year were. At the end of this grueling process—this death march through endless stacks of DVDs, searching for the rarest pearl in an ever-increasing sea of muck—we WAFCA members nominate up to five films/people in each category. The five films/people who earn the most votes in every category are then voted upon by the whole of the membership, the winners are chosen, the press release is sent out, and blessed, blessed relief descends upon us as we put the exercise to rest for 11 months.
