Государственная аудиторская служба Украины выявила злоупотребления в использовании средств на организацию и проведение песенного конкурса "Евровидение 2017" в Киеве. Об этом 20 октября сообщила пресс-служба ведомства. Отмечается, что ревизия проходила с 24 мая по 16 августа в ПАО "Национальная общественная телерадиокомпания Украины", которое занималось организацией конкурса. Аудит вскрыл факты нарушений при ведении бухгалтерского учета и проведении процедур закупок на общую сумму 468,7 млн грн, а также факты незаконных расходов на сумму 8,6 млн грн. Растрату еще 2,8 млн грн удалось предотвратить, следует из сообщения. Согласно информации госслужбы, некоторые победители тендеров, не имея собственных возможностей оказать услуги в соответствии с условиями договора, привлекали субподрядчиков за меньшую цену. "Следует обратить внимание, что половина потраченных средств (250 млн грн из 522 млн грн) направлена зарубежным компаниям, которые проверить практически невозможно", – говорится в сообщении. Во время аудита удалось возместить государству 2,1 млн грн. Материалы ревизии передали в правоохранительные органы. Также проинформировали Кабинет Министров и Госкомтелерадио. Песенный конкурс "Евровидение 2017" проходил в Киеве с 9-го по 13 мая 2017 года. Победу на нем одержал представитель Португалии Сальвадор Собрал с песней Amar Pelos Dois. 12 мая премьер-министр Украины Владимир Гройсман заявлял, что по окончании "Евровидения 2017" будет настаивать на проведении проверки траты государственных средств. Исполнительный продюсер конкурса Павел Грицак  отмечал, что "Евровидение 2017" обошлось бюджету "в сумму лишь чуть более €10 млн (327 млн грн)" и было "едва ли не самой эффективной инвестицией в международный имидж Украины за последние годы". As a film critic of medium-low importance, one of my most sacred duties is participating in the Washington Area Film Critics Association (WAFCA) year-end awards extravaganza. During this hallowed time of year, I watch dozens of movies and mine my own recollection of the good, the bad, and the ugly to determine what, precisely, the best films of the year were. At the end of this grueling process—this death march through endless stacks of DVDs, searching for the rarest pearl in an ever-increasing sea of muck—we WAFCA members nominate up to five films/people in each category. The five films/people who earn the most votes in every category are then voted upon by the whole of the membership, the winners are chosen, the press release is sent out, and blessed, blessed relief descends upon us as we put the exercise to rest for 11 months.
