Minori reinvented a Japanese street fashion style eight years ago that now has a worldwide following.
З 25 жовтня по 15 листопада в арт-просторі київського ЦУМу відбудеться виставка урбаністичної фотографії Contemporary Architecture Photography Убіка Литвина. Буде представлено близько 20 монохромних фоторобіт та відео-інсталяція. Натхненням для художника стала сучасна архітектура міст-космополітів: Майямі, Нью-Йорку, Парижу, Берліну, Копенгагену, Дубая, Барселони, Києва, Ялти. У серії урбаністичних фотографій – унікальний погляд Убіка на мінімалізм, чистоту форми, красу ліній і геометрію простору. Фотограф досліджує атмосферу і ритм сучасного мегаполісу через взаємодію людини з архітектурою і навколишнім середовищем. Для мене важливо відчувати енергію міста, розуміти як архітектурне середовище взаємодіє з нами. Людина повинна знайти баланс з навколишнім світом і зберегти його, – розповідає Убік Литвин. Убік Литвин – український художник, фотограф і дизайнер. Його творчість уже встигли оцінити в США і Європі. Роботи Убіка прикрашають вітчизняні та зарубіжні колекції поціновувачів мистецтва. Цей проект покликаний привернути увагу до такого виду медіа-мистецтва як фотографія і презентувати її як самодостатню і перспективну область сучасного українського арту. Впевнений, що виставка Contemporary Architecture – лише початок нашої плідної співпраці з Убіком Литвином, – коментує організатор проекту – засновник Sky Art Foundation Дмитро Палієнко. Виставка проходитиме в просторі Арт-ЦУМ. Вхід на експозицію для всіх бажаючих – вільний. ДОВІДКА Sky Art Foundation – благодійний фонд, який був заснований восени 2014 року за ініціативи Дмитра Палієнка. Мета організації – підтримка та розвиток нового покоління українських сучасних художників, а також сприяння міжнародним культурним обмінам та інтеграції української культури у світовий арт-контекст. As a film critic of medium-low importance, one of my most sacred duties is participating in the Washington Area Film Critics Association (WAFCA) year-end awards extravaganza. During this hallowed time of year, I watch dozens of movies and mine my own recollection of the good, the bad, and the ugly to determine what, precisely, the best films of the year were. At the end of this grueling process—this death march through endless stacks of DVDs, searching for the rarest pearl in an ever-increasing sea of muck—we WAFCA members nominate up to five films/people in each category. The five films/people who earn the most votes in every category are then voted upon by the whole of the membership, the winners are chosen, the press release is sent out, and blessed, blessed relief descends upon us as we put the exercise to rest for 11 months.
