Национальный отбор на Евровидение 2018 в Украине начнется 10 февраля параллельно на телеканалах СТБ и UA:ПЕРВЫЙ. Вести нацотбор, как и в прошлом году, будет украинский шоумен Сергей Притула. В 2018 году у нацотбора на Евровидение-2018 появится новый музыкальный продюсер Руслан Квинта (вместо Константина Меладзе), а ведущим прямых эфиров второй раз станет Сергей Притула. "Думаю, выбор ведущего ни у кого не вызывает вопросов. Сергей любимец публики и большой профессионал; наблюдать за тем, как он ведет эфиры и общается с участниками, невероятное удовольствие. Мы рады, что наши отборы снова будут наполнены качественным юмором и фирменной иронией Притулы", – отметила руководитель национального отбора Наталья Франчук. Сергей Притула во второй раз станет ведущим нацотбора на Евровидение-2018 Сам Притула признается, что по части шуток будет ориентироваться на месте, а от первого прямого эфира нацотбора на Евровидение-2018 ожидает отсутствия явного фаворита. "Хотелось бы такого же конкурентного набора исполнителей, как и в предыдущие два года, когда в каждом полуфинале сразу по 3 участника претендовали на путевку на Евровидение. У меня, честно говоря, даже есть внутренний конфликт. С одной стороны, хочется побольше молодых групп, разножанровой музыки (как в этом году для людей открылись Monochromea, AGHIAZMA, Panivalkova и Vivienne Mort), а с другой, понимаешь, что Евровидение – это все же попсовый конкурс, и надо делать акцент на подборе качественной поп-музыки", – отмечает Притула. Сергей Притула был ведущим национального отбора на Евровидение-2017 Всего запланировано три прямых эфира национального отбора на Евровидение-2018: 10 и 17 февраля (полуфиналы) и 24 февраля (финал). Они пройдут одновременно на телеканалах СТБ и UA:ПЕРВЫЙ. Победитель национального отбора представит Украину на 63-м песенном конкурсе Евровидение в Лиссабоне (Португалия), который пройдет 8, 10 и 12 мая 2018 года.

As a film critic of medium-low importance, one of my most sacred duties is participating in the Washington Area Film Critics Association (WAFCA) year-end awards extravaganza. During this hallowed time of year, I watch dozens of movies and mine my own recollection of the good, the bad, and the ugly to determine what, precisely, the best films of the year were. At the end of this grueling process—this death march through endless stacks of DVDs, searching for the rarest pearl in an ever-increasing sea of muck—we WAFCA members nominate up to five films/people in each category. The five films/people who earn the most votes in every category are then voted upon by the whole of the membership, the winners are chosen, the press release is sent out, and blessed, blessed relief descends upon us as we put the exercise to rest for 11 months.
