Общенациональные телеканалы UA: Перший, UA Культура и UA: Крим 11 декабря перейдут на широкоэкранный формат вещания 16:9. Об этом сообщила пресс-служба Национальной общественной телерадиокомпаниии Украины (НОТУ). В пресс-службе отметили, что отказываясь от формата кадра 4:3, каналы частично обновят и свою графику. "Такие изменения станут еще одним шагом на пути к переходу на вещание Общественного в формате HD", – говорится в сообщении. "Для телеканала, которому государство почти шесть лет не выделяло денег на технику, это очень серьезный рывок вперед. Последний раз, когда мы подсчитали бюджет перехода на 16:9, он был более $500 тыс", – сказал руководитель НОТУ Зураб Аласания. Он добавил, что стоимость перехода на новый формат в 2017 году стала меньше. "Все стало немного дешевле, чем 5 лет назад, мы подключили больше "мозгов".  Воплощаем сейчас этот переход вообще без помощи государства. Больше всего, на самом деле, нам помогло сотрудничество с грантодателями. Иначе мы бы не сдвинулись с места в этом направлении. В течение последних двух лет сразу несколько грантодателей внесли вклад в наше оборудование –это и Посольство США, и Deutsche Welle, и Совет Европы. Вот так мы постепенно набрали необходимое количество камер, которые снимают в формате 16:9", –рассказал Аласания. В НОТУ рассказали, что уже тестировали новый формат. "В октябре в формат 16:9 был переведен комплекс новостей. За это время отрабатывались все организационные трудности переходного периода. Поскольку часть материалов телеканалов остается в формате 4:3, а часть уже записана в 16:9, то очень важно совместить их удачно. В частности требовалось время, чтобы сотрудники привыкли работать в другом режиме", –говорится в сообщении. Решение о создании ПАО "Национальное общественное телевидение Украины" Верховная Рада приняла в марте 2015 года, в апреле того же года законопроект подписал президент Петр Порошенко. As a film critic of medium-low importance, one of my most sacred duties is participating in the Washington Area Film Critics Association (WAFCA) year-end awards extravaganza. During this hallowed time of year, I watch dozens of movies and mine my own recollection of the good, the bad, and the ugly to determine what, precisely, the best films of the year were. At the end of this grueling process—this death march through endless stacks of DVDs, searching for the rarest pearl in an ever-increasing sea of muck—we WAFCA members nominate up to five films/people in each category. The five films/people who earn the most votes in every category are then voted upon by the whole of the membership, the winners are chosen, the press release is sent out, and blessed, blessed relief descends upon us as we put the exercise to rest for 11 months.
