На премьере балета "Нуреев" в Большом театре несколько членов труппы вышли на поклон в футболках с надписью "Свободу режиссеру" и портретом российского режиссера-постановщика спектакля Кирилла Серебренникова. Об этом сообщает "Медуза". Фото со спектакля обнародовал в своем Twitter экс-министр финансов России, глава Центра стратегических разработок Алексей Кудрин. "В Большом долгожданная премьера о Нурееве. Актуальный, настоящий современный балет. Талантливо о великом таланте. Несправедливо, что Кирилл Серебренников не был на своей премьере", – написал Кудрин. Премьера спектакля была запланирована на 11 июля 2017 года, но впоследствии ее перенесли на май 2018 года, объяснив это неготовностью постановки. Главное управление по расследованию особо важных дел Следственного комитета России задержало Серебренникова в ночь на 22 августа. Он обвиняется в организации хищения не менее 68 млн руб. (около $1,15 млн), выделенных в 2011–2014 годах на реализацию проекта "Платформа". По словам режиссера, обвинения против него – абсурдны, потому что проект "Платформа" состоялся именно за те деньги, которые выделило государство.  23 августа Басманный суд Москвы отправил Серебренникова под домашний арест. 4 сентября городской суд Москвы не удовлетворил апелляцию режиссера на изменение меры пресечения, разрешив ему только два часа прогулок в день. 18 октября меру пресечения Серебренникову продлили до 19 января 2018 года. As a film critic of medium-low importance, one of my most sacred duties is participating in the Washington Area Film Critics Association (WAFCA) year-end awards extravaganza. During this hallowed time of year, I watch dozens of movies and mine my own recollection of the good, the bad, and the ugly to determine what, precisely, the best films of the year were. At the end of this grueling process—this death march through endless stacks of DVDs, searching for the rarest pearl in an ever-increasing sea of muck—we WAFCA members nominate up to five films/people in each category. The five films/people who earn the most votes in every category are then voted upon by the whole of the membership, the winners are chosen, the press release is sent out, and blessed, blessed relief descends upon us as we put the exercise to rest for 11 months.
