Путинский режим делает все возможное, чтобы заглушить правду о российской агрессии в Украине. Так в Москве 9 декабря сорвали показ фильма "Полет пули", который рассказывает о событиях 2014 году на Луганщине. Во время показа в зал ворвалась группа молодых людей. "Полет пули" – это документальная кинолента российского режиссера Беаты Бубинец. Фильм снят одним кадром и рассказывает о событиях 2014 года в поселке Счастье. Главные герои картины – бойцы батальона "Айдар", которые воюют с сепаратистами. Ранее "Полет пули" уже показали в Екатеринбурге и Санкт-Петербурге. Впервые продемонстрировали его и в Москве на фестивале "Артдокфест". И уже тогда на показ пришли сторонники пророссийских сепаратистов и начали угрожать и оскорблять режиссера ленты Беату Бубинец. Сторонники сепаратистов пришли и на второй показ документальной ленты в Москве. Правда, 10 декабря было их далеко не полтысячи, как они обещали. Однако даже те несколько злоумышленников, которые вскарабкались на сцену, смогли помешать демонстрации фильма. Фестиваль имел разрешение на показ киноленты. Поэтому российская полиция вывела провокаторов из зала. Однако до этого они успели разлить в зале вещество с сильным запахом, поэтому со временем эвакуировали уже и зрителей, которых было около 200. Мы стали свидетелями того, что поиск дороги к миру пока не актуален для нашего общества. Это свидетельствует о проблемах в нас, о обманутых людях, – прокомментировал инцидент президент фестиваля "Артдокфест" Виталий Манский. Из-за угроз организаторы фестиваля отменили показ еще одной киноленты о событиях на Донбассе – "Война ради мира". Украинский фильм рассказывает о людях, которые ушли добровольцами защищать свою страну. А еще раньше компания-владелец кинотеатра, где проходит фестиваль "Артдокфест", отказала в показе фильма о первом председателе Меджлиса Мустафе Джемилеве.

As a film critic of medium-low importance, one of my most sacred duties is participating in the Washington Area Film Critics Association (WAFCA) year-end awards extravaganza. During this hallowed time of year, I watch dozens of movies and mine my own recollection of the good, the bad, and the ugly to determine what, precisely, the best films of the year were. At the end of this grueling process—this death march through endless stacks of DVDs, searching for the rarest pearl in an ever-increasing sea of muck—we WAFCA members nominate up to five films/people in each category. The five films/people who earn the most votes in every category are then voted upon by the whole of the membership, the winners are chosen, the press release is sent out, and blessed, blessed relief descends upon us as we put the exercise to rest for 11 months.
