Седьмой выпуск "Модель XL" вышел на канале "1+1" 12 декабря. Смелая осенняя премьера шоу "Модель XL" заставит каждую женщину поверить в силу своей красоты. Среди множества пышных красавиц в реалити-шоу "Модель XL" попали самые яркие девушки – реальные женщины нереальной красоты. Они будут преодолевать свои страхи и комплексы, пройдут непростые испытания, будут учиться любить свое тело, чтобы стать главной моделью XL в Украине. Теперь кастинг из 100 участников завершен. Из 30 избранных моделей в желанный проект прошли только 10 участниц, которые поселятся в "модельном" доме и смогут получить желанный билет в мир высокой моды. Для того, чтобы попасть в финал проекта, пышнотелые красавицы пытались как можно лучше показать себя во время фотосессии в стиле "ню", а также перевоплотиться в образы роскошных нимф в традиционных костюмах. По результатам двух испытаний, проект покинули две участницы – Алиса Дубровская и Виктория Щелко. Виктория Щелко, 28 лет Рост: 173, параметры: 110-76-108 Бывшая фотомодель, работает в полиции. Имеет 5 высших образований и большие амбиции. Алиса Дубровская, 21 год Рост: 178, параметры: 100-87-110. Девушка с характером, живет и учится в Харькове. Не хочет худеть: считает, что это может сделать ее формы непривлекательными. Новое шоу "Модель XL" призвано развеять представление о стандартах красоты, показав Украине очаровательных женщин с пышными формами. А определять их судьбу будет звездное жюри: ведущая Екатерина Осадчая, дизайнер Андре Тан, судья проекта "Танцы со звездами" Влад Яма и известная в мире латвийская модель plus-size Татьяна Мацкевич. Победительница проекта "Модель XL" станет первой украинской моделью plus-size, которая украсит обложку глянцевого журнала в нашей стране. Девушка с пышными формами, которая окажется лучшей в проекте, станет лицом коллекции Андре Тана "A.Tan+" и героиней номера журнала Cosmopolitan. Модели plus-size становятся все популярнее в современной индустрии моды, а навязчивые стандарты красоты 90-60-90 постепенно уходят в прошлое. Новый проект "Модель XL" призван развенчать миф о том, что чрезмерная худоба привлекательнее пышных форм.

As a film critic of medium-low importance, one of my most sacred duties is participating in the Washington Area Film Critics Association (WAFCA) year-end awards extravaganza. During this hallowed time of year, I watch dozens of movies and mine my own recollection of the good, the bad, and the ugly to determine what, precisely, the best films of the year were. At the end of this grueling process—this death march through endless stacks of DVDs, searching for the rarest pearl in an ever-increasing sea of muck—we WAFCA members nominate up to five films/people in each category. The five films/people who earn the most votes in every category are then voted upon by the whole of the membership, the winners are chosen, the press release is sent out, and blessed, blessed relief descends upon us as we put the exercise to rest for 11 months.
