43-летняя британский модельер Виктория Бекхэм подверглась критике со стороны подписчиков своего "Инстаграма" за сотрудничество со слишком худыми моделями. Супругу знаменитого футболиста и экс-солистку Spice Girls обвинили в пропаганде анорексии, а также в искажении образа женщины, сообщает NY Daily News. Виктория Бекхэм начала 2018 год с публикации в "Инстаграме" рекламного фотосета новой модели ретро-очков. Аксессуар представляет 29-летняя модель из Литвы. Подписчики Бекхэм назвали девушку излишне тощей. "Какой пример вы подаете девушкам? Почему очки рекламирует настолько тощая модель?", — спросил Бекхэм один из подписчиков. "Такой образ женщины опасен для молодых модниц. Они думают, что это стандарт красоты", — отметил другой пользователь "Инстаграма". "Вы их не кормите? Какой пример вы подаете дочери?", — негодует еще один знаток моды. Бекхэм уже приходилось оправдываться за кастинг моделей для своих показов. В 2015 году она заявила, что, вопреки утверждениям злых языков, работающие с ней девушки абсолютно здоровы и не страдают анорексией. Нынешний скандал представители Бекхэм пока не комментируют.

As a film critic of medium-low importance, one of my most sacred duties is participating in the Washington Area Film Critics Association (WAFCA) year-end awards extravaganza. During this hallowed time of year, I watch dozens of movies and mine my own recollection of the good, the bad, and the ugly to determine what, precisely, the best films of the year were. At the end of this grueling process—this death march through endless stacks of DVDs, searching for the rarest pearl in an ever-increasing sea of muck—we WAFCA members nominate up to five films/people in each category. The five films/people who earn the most votes in every category are then voted upon by the whole of the membership, the winners are chosen, the press release is sent out, and blessed, blessed relief descends upon us as we put the exercise to rest for 11 months.
