    Захи Хавасс, известный египетский археолог и бывший министр по делам древностей, объявил о начале раскопок в Долине Царей, которые, как он надеется, приведут к открытию гробницы Анхесенамон, дочери Нефертити и супруги Тутанхамона. «В январе этого года мы начали свои собственные раскопки на территории Долины обезьян, западной части Долины Царей. Мы проводим раскопки в окрестностях гробницы фараона Эйе, наследника Тутанхамона, чьи радарные снимки указали на возможность присутствия входа в гробницу на глубине примерно в 5 метров под землей», — заявил археолог, информирует news.eizvestia.com. Фараон Аменхотеп, его жена Нефертити и его сын Тутанхамон считаются одними из самых ярких и интересных правителей Древнего Египта эпохи Нового Царства. Аменхотеп провел одну из первых в истории Земли религиозных реформ, попытавшись заменить классических богов Египта и их влиятельных жрецов на культ поклонения Солнцу в лице себя, Нефертити считалась образцом красоты бронзового века, а Тутанхамон привлекает внимание ученых и публики своей загадочной смертью в возрасте 20 лет и нетронутой «проклятой» гробницей. Помимо причин и истории смерти Тутанхамона, археологи и египтологи сегодня активно спорят о том, где была захоронена его жена Анхесенамон, дочь Нефертити и Аменхотепа, приходившаяся ему сестрой по отцовской линии. В гробнице фараона было найдено несколько мумий женщин и девочек, одна из которых является его дочерью, а вторая – может быть как и Анхесенамон, так и другой сестрой. Анхесенамон пережила Тутанхамона и правила после его смерти несколько лет, выйдя замуж за бывшего верховного советника фараона, Эйе, жреца бога Амона. По этой причине многие египтологи полагают, что царица была захоронена отдельно от своего первого мужа, в другой гробнице в Долине Царей. As a film critic of medium-low importance, one of my most sacred duties is participating in the Washington Area Film Critics Association (WAFCA) year-end awards extravaganza. During this hallowed time of year, I watch dozens of movies and mine my own recollection of the good, the bad, and the ugly to determine what, precisely, the best films of the year were. At the end of this grueling process—this death march through endless stacks of DVDs, searching for the rarest pearl in an ever-increasing sea of muck—we WAFCA members nominate up to five films/people in each category. The five films/people who earn the most votes in every category are then voted upon by the whole of the membership, the winners are chosen, the press release is sent out, and blessed, blessed relief descends upon us as we put the exercise to rest for 11 months.
