    Австралийские ученые пришли к выводу, что Уильям Шекспир не является основным автором анонимной пьесы «Эдуард III». Сотрудники Австралийского национального университета, Университета Чарльза Стерта, а также Организации оборонной науки и техники выяснили, что в общей сложности 14 из 19 сцен произведения были написаны английским драматургом Томасом Кидом, информирует news.eizvestia.com. Сообщается, что австралийские ученые сравнили текст пьесы с другими произведениями Шекспира и Кида, используя технику RPAS. Она опирается на четыре нейролингвистических индикатора: полноту словарного запаса, использование личных местоимений и служебных слов, а также вербальное описание чувств и ощущений. Данный нейролингвистический подход позволяет выявить личность автора через его стиль письма. Результаты исследования показали, что основным автором «Эдуарда III» был Томас Кид: он полностью написал 12 сцен пьесы. Пять сцен произведения были написаны Шекспиром, еще две — Кидом и Шекспиром в соавторстве, полагают ученые. При этом те части «Эдуарда III», которые обычно приписывались Шекспиру, написал не он, а Кид. По материалам veroyatno.com.ua

As a film critic of medium-low importance, one of my most sacred duties is participating in the Washington Area Film Critics Association (WAFCA) year-end awards extravaganza. During this hallowed time of year, I watch dozens of movies and mine my own recollection of the good, the bad, and the ugly to determine what, precisely, the best films of the year were. At the end of this grueling process—this death march through endless stacks of DVDs, searching for the rarest pearl in an ever-increasing sea of muck—we WAFCA members nominate up to five films/people in each category. The five films/people who earn the most votes in every category are then voted upon by the whole of the membership, the winners are chosen, the press release is sent out, and blessed, blessed relief descends upon us as we put the exercise to rest for 11 months.
