Новоспечений учасник Євробачення-2018, яке відбудеться весною у португальському Лісабоні, Костянтин Бочаров, більш відомий за сценічним псевдонімом MELOVIN, поділився емоціями після українського Національного відбору пісенного конкурсу. Як розповів виконавець у коментарі ресурсу "Вести", це він сам придумав, що на початку номеру підніматиметься драбиною, яка у буквальному розумінні палатиме. "Ідея номеру – цілком і повністю моя. Під час виступу було дійсно дуже спекотно. І важко було співати через дим і пари", – підкреслив артист. Крім того, він пояснив, чому втік з прес-конференції після півфіналу. "Я розумів, що мене будуть всі питати, як зміниться мій номер до другого виступу. Але для мене головне було зберегти інтригу. І тому я покинув прес-конференцію", – зауважив музикант. Водночас MELOVIN зазначив, що для основного конкурсу в Європі він знову злегка змінить свій номер, ідея якого у нього, за його словами, була ще до початку Нацвідбору, щоправда, як саме зміниться виступ, Костянтин не розповів. За словами співака, він триматиме інтригу до останнього. "У мене, на жаль, немає жодних важелів тиску на цих людей, які погрожували Джамалі, оскільки цих людей я своїми фанами не вважаю. Вони тільки люблять мої пісні, але не розуміють моєї суті", – додав він. До слова, щодо погроз ресурс поспілкувався й зі справжніми фантами MELOVIN’а, які називають себе "меловінаторами". Так, вони сказали, що "особисто не знають, від кого надходили погрози, але спробують знайти та вплинути на цих людей, щоб це не повторювалося". Нагадаємо, у фіналі Нацвідбору Євробачення-2018 MELOVIN отримав 5 балів із 6 можливих від журі та максимальні 6 балів від глядачів. У підсумку такий результат забезпечив йому перемогу.

As a film critic of medium-low importance, one of my most sacred duties is participating in the Washington Area Film Critics Association (WAFCA) year-end awards extravaganza. During this hallowed time of year, I watch dozens of movies and mine my own recollection of the good, the bad, and the ugly to determine what, precisely, the best films of the year were. At the end of this grueling process—this death march through endless stacks of DVDs, searching for the rarest pearl in an ever-increasing sea of muck—we WAFCA members nominate up to five films/people in each category. The five films/people who earn the most votes in every category are then voted upon by the whole of the membership, the winners are chosen, the press release is sent out, and blessed, blessed relief descends upon us as we put the exercise to rest for 11 months.
