День Киева в Украине традиционно отмечают в последние выходные весны. Дата не закреплена окончательно, а приходится на каждое последнее воскресенье мая. Когда будут праздновать День Киева в 2018 году – читайте дальше. Последние выходные мая в 2018 году оказались очень насыщенными событиями. Так, кроме Дня Киева в столице пройдет финал Лиги чемпионов УЕФА, а 27 мая отмечается христианский праздник Троица, по случаю которого понедельник, 28 Мая, также будет выходным днем. Поэтому мероприятия ко Дню рождения столицы растянутся на все выходные 26-28 мая. Известно, что на празднование Дня Киева будет потрачено 2,5 миллиона гривен из городского бюджета. Эта сумма стала крупнейшей за последние несколько лет, а значит – стоит ожидать приятных сюрпризов как гостям города, так и его жителям. Грандиозный концерт ко Дню Киева состоится на Крещатике Киевлян и гостей города ждет масса развлечений. Футбольный праздник болельщиков ЛЧ "Фестиваль чемпионов" на Крещатике 27 мая сменится торжествами с грандиозным концертом ко Дню города, где запланировано массовое исполнение гимна Киева, концерты духового и симфонического оркестров, фестиваль электронной музыки и джаза. Также посетителей ожидает шоу маршевых барабанов, DJ-сеты, вокальные и танцевальные перформансы, флешмобы и тому подобное. Начало концерта запланировано на 13:00, ориентировочное время окончания 21:00. Также в День Киева состоится один из самых массовых и ярких мероприятий – "Пробег под каштанами". Кроме того, пройдут фестиваль мороженого, фестиваль крафтового украинского пива, ярмарка народного искусства, велогонки и тому подобное. Пробег под каштанами  В целом же праздничные мероприятия будут проходить в течение всех выходных и не только в центре города, а в каждом районе столицы. As a film critic of medium-low importance, one of my most sacred duties is participating in the Washington Area Film Critics Association (WAFCA) year-end awards extravaganza. During this hallowed time of year, I watch dozens of movies and mine my own recollection of the good, the bad, and the ugly to determine what, precisely, the best films of the year were. At the end of this grueling process—this death march through endless stacks of DVDs, searching for the rarest pearl in an ever-increasing sea of muck—we WAFCA members nominate up to five films/people in each category. The five films/people who earn the most votes in every category are then voted upon by the whole of the membership, the winners are chosen, the press release is sent out, and blessed, blessed relief descends upon us as we put the exercise to rest for 11 months.
