К съемочной группе украинского фильма "Захар Беркут" присоединились голливудские специалисты: режиссер Джон Винн и продюсеры Джефф Райс, Юрий Карновский и Раджу Коллинз. Об этом сообщает пресс-служба Госкино. Режиссер картины – создатель "Киборгов" Ахтем Сеитаблаев. Винн будет его сорежиссером. "Сотрудничество с американскими партнерами – прежде всего наш шанс рассказать всему миру эту невероятную героическую историю Ивана Франко, показать далеко за пределами страны красоту украинских Карпат, дать возможность больше узнать о нашей истории, древних традициях, познакомиться с культурой, бытом, услышать настоящую украинскую музыку, "инфицировать" не только украинского, но и западного зрителя нашей страной", – рассказал Сеитаблаев. Фильм снимает компания Kinorob. Голливудские коллеги обеспечат коммуникацию с международным актерским составом и помогут продвигать проект на североамериканском рынке, отметили в Госкино. "Я был очень удивлен, когда впервые прочитал сценарий фильма: почему я об этом никогда не слышал? Ведь это просто невероятная история! Я верю, что у этого проекта большой международный потенциал, поскольку история маленькой украинской общины, которая борется против могущественной армии мира за свою свободу и независимость, понятна каждому из нас и непременно найдет отклик в сердцах зрителей по всему миру", – отметил продюсер "Захара Беркута" Райс. Съемки исторической ленты "Захар Беркут" начнутся уже в середине июня в Карпатах. Премьера фильма запланирована на 2019 год. As a film critic of medium-low importance, one of my most sacred duties is participating in the Washington Area Film Critics Association (WAFCA) year-end awards extravaganza. During this hallowed time of year, I watch dozens of movies and mine my own recollection of the good, the bad, and the ugly to determine what, precisely, the best films of the year were. At the end of this grueling process—this death march through endless stacks of DVDs, searching for the rarest pearl in an ever-increasing sea of muck—we WAFCA members nominate up to five films/people in each category. The five films/people who earn the most votes in every category are then voted upon by the whole of the membership, the winners are chosen, the press release is sent out, and blessed, blessed relief descends upon us as we put the exercise to rest for 11 months.
