4 липня Музей Революції Гідності отримав припис від Департаменту спецрозслідувань Генпрокуратури про заборону будівництва музею та меморіалу на вулиці Інститутській у Києві. Про це розповів директор установи Ігор Пошивайло, передає "Громадське радіо". За його словами, ця постанова, фактично, забороняє будь-які дії: від зміни об’єктів, заборони знесення малих архітектурних форм до заборони насаджень. "Департамент спецрозслідувань Генпрокуратури видав припис про заборону будівництва музею та меморіалу на Інститутській", – зазначив Пошивайло. Проте сьогодні в ГПУ пояснили, що вони не заборонили, а призупинили, заборона діятиме усього два місяці – доки триватимуть слідчі експерименти. Адже музей будують на вулиці Інститутській, де розстрілювали учасників Революції гідності. І там могли ще залишитися речові докази. Більше того, у ГПУ кажуть, що роботи краще не розпочинати до вироку суду. Я вважаю, щоб уникнути будь-яких інсинуацій, то варто було б дочекатися завершення суду, щоб не можна було використовувати будь-які маніпуляції зі сторони захисту щодо того, що завершення процесу було змінено. А вони могли б заявити якісь клопотання, – сказав начальник Департаменту спецрозслідувань ГПУ Сергій Горбатюк. As a film critic of medium-low importance, one of my most sacred duties is participating in the Washington Area Film Critics Association (WAFCA) year-end awards extravaganza. During this hallowed time of year, I watch dozens of movies and mine my own recollection of the good, the bad, and the ugly to determine what, precisely, the best films of the year were. At the end of this grueling process—this death march through endless stacks of DVDs, searching for the rarest pearl in an ever-increasing sea of muck—we WAFCA members nominate up to five films/people in each category. The five films/people who earn the most votes in every category are then voted upon by the whole of the membership, the winners are chosen, the press release is sent out, and blessed, blessed relief descends upon us as we put the exercise to rest for 11 months.
