Лидер украинской музыкальной группы "Бумбокс" Андрей Хлывнюк 10 июля сообщил в Facebook, что получил письмо от заключенного в РФ крымского режиссера Олега Сенцова. Политзаключенный отметил, что является поклонником творчества Хлывнюка и рассказал, что в колонии ему удалось послушать песню "Вахтерам". "Я получил три минуты несравнимого удовольствия и единения с родиной", – признался Сенцов. Также режиссер поблагодарил музыканта за открытку, которую получил от него "год или два назад". Хлывнюк назвал Сенцова "человеком, который борется за правду, ценой своего здоровья, свободы и самой жизни". "Я горжусь тем, что живу с тобой, брат, в одно время! Буду пытаться делать все возможное и не возможное для того, чтобы ты и все наши оказались на свободе. Увидимся!" – добавил он. https://www.facebook.com/permalink.php?story_fbid=1842456352486760&id=100001672403549 Сенцов был приговорен в РФ к 20 годам лишения свободы 25 августа 2015 года. Российский суд признал его виновным в создании в Крыму террористического сообщества и руководстве им, покушении на приобретение взрывных устройств и незаконном хранении огнестрельного оружия и боеприпасов, двух террористических актах и подготовке еще одного теракта. Сенцов своей вины не признал. 14 мая 2018 года режиссер объявил бессрочную голодовку в колонии города Лабытнанги Тюменской области. Он потребовал освободить 64 украинских политзаключенных, но себя в список не включил. 21 июня адвокат политзаключенного Дмитрий Динзе сообщил, что у Сенцова проблемы с сердцем и почками. Он похудел на 13 килограмм, но прекращать голодовку отказывается. К режиссеру не допустили украинского омбудсмена Людмилу Денисову.  30 июня Динзе рассказал, что Сенцов "старается особо не ходить и не вставать с постели в медсанчасти, потому что для него это достаточно энергозатратно". Адвокат заверил, что украинца не кормят принудительно.  5 июля после встречи с политзаключенным его сестра Наталья Каплан рассказала, что Сенцов потерял 15 килограмм веса. "Сейчас ему ставят капельницы. Без них он бы уже не выжил. Сказал, что пойдет до конца и верит в победу", – отметила она. As a film critic of medium-low importance, one of my most sacred duties is participating in the Washington Area Film Critics Association (WAFCA) year-end awards extravaganza. During this hallowed time of year, I watch dozens of movies and mine my own recollection of the good, the bad, and the ugly to determine what, precisely, the best films of the year were. At the end of this grueling process—this death march through endless stacks of DVDs, searching for the rarest pearl in an ever-increasing sea of muck—we WAFCA members nominate up to five films/people in each category. The five films/people who earn the most votes in every category are then voted upon by the whole of the membership, the winners are chosen, the press release is sent out, and blessed, blessed relief descends upon us as we put the exercise to rest for 11 months.
