На Львовщине снимают исторический художественный фильм "Несокрушимые". Там священник берет в руки камеру, а на бойцов ОУН превращаются его прихожане. Пока актеры готовятся к съемкам в импровизированной гримерке, оператор, отец Михаил Гредиль, готовит технику. Идея снять фильм у отца Михаила появилась еще десять лет назад. Впрочем, за дело взялся только зимой. Сам приобрел камеру, а на реквизит объявил сбор средств. Съемки начали в августе. И хотим показать нашему нынешнему поколению, что они уже имеют Украину независимую, и они обязаны за независимость тем мужественным дочерям и сыновьям Украины, – отметил режиссер и оператор фильма отец Михаил Гредиль. Отец Михаил и сам недавно вернулся с Востока. Был там капелланом, имел позывной "Апостол". В фильме также будет поддерживать воинов – сыграет роль священника. Михаил Гредиль был капелланом на Востоке Михаил Гредиль также является режиссером и оператором фильма "Порой осознаешь, насколько ты здесь в этой жизни делаешь мало. Трудно, или не хватает времени, или еще что-то. А тут люди неделями не едят, сидят в неизвестно каких бункерах и ждут своего часа", – прокомментировал съемки Тарас Елейко, который играет одну из ролей в фильме. Актеры – не профессиональные, любители, впрочем, к съемкам готовились тщательно. Я взял сценарий и дома падал, старался сыграть, говорил. Помню, еще жена мне говорила, мол, что я делаю, сейчас соседи придут, – рассказал актер Борис Латик. Премьеру фильма "Несокрушимые" запланировали на конец года.

As a film critic of medium-low importance, one of my most sacred duties is participating in the Washington Area Film Critics Association (WAFCA) year-end awards extravaganza. During this hallowed time of year, I watch dozens of movies and mine my own recollection of the good, the bad, and the ugly to determine what, precisely, the best films of the year were. At the end of this grueling process—this death march through endless stacks of DVDs, searching for the rarest pearl in an ever-increasing sea of muck—we WAFCA members nominate up to five films/people in each category. The five films/people who earn the most votes in every category are then voted upon by the whole of the membership, the winners are chosen, the press release is sent out, and blessed, blessed relief descends upon us as we put the exercise to rest for 11 months.
