Программа развития ООН (ПРООН) намерена провести мониторинг доставки, наличия и использования в областях, закупленных ею за средства государственного бюджета лекарственных средств и изделий медицинского назначения (ИМН). Согласно документации, обнародованной на сайте организации, мониторинг будет осуществляться в медучреждениях Днепропетровской, Донецкой, Львовской, Полтавской, Харьковской и Черкасской областей. Его целью является оценка соответствия объема поставленных лекарственных средств объему заказанных во время планирования, количества больных, которые нуждались в препаратах, и больных которые их получили, изучение сроков поставки медикаментов из центрального склада Министерства здравоохранения на областные склады либо склады больниц. ПРООН планирует, что в результате работы также будут установлены причины, по которым пациенты не получили лекарства или получили их несвоевременно. Согласно документации, к работе планируют привлечь четыре общественные организации (одна организация из региона), которые в течение трех месяцев будут изучать наличие, поставку и доступность лекарственных средств по таким программам, как детский гепатит (препараты, закупленные в 2016-2017 гг.), а также взросла онкология (закупленные в 2017 году). Максимальная сумма заявки на грант для одной организации составляет 125 тыс. грн. Заявки на участие в конкурсе принимаются до 31 августа. Методология проведения мониторинга будет предоставлена исполнителям после подписания договора.
