Ученые нашли эффективное средство против рака
Способ нахождения и уничтожения аномальных T-клеток, приводящих к развитию T-клеточной лифомы, нашли ученые из Кардиффского университета. Об этом сообщает MedicalXpress. Лифома образуется из перерожденных иммуных клеток – лимфоцитов. Существуют два типа лимфоцитов: B-клетки и T-клетки. Последние разработки помогли найти способ излечить больного от B-клеточной лифомы, однако T-клеточная лифома остается одной из самых агрессивных и трудно поддающихся лечению форм рака. T-клетки борются с возбудителями болезней, используя рецепторы, состоящие из генов C1 или C2. В человеческом организме содержится примерно равное количество Т-клеток, как с генами C1, так и с генами C2. Если T-клетка переродится, то все раковые клетки будут содержать только один из этих генов. Отмечается, что ученые смогли найти способ уничтожения раковых Т-клеток без повреждения здоровых. Например, если раковые Т-клетки содержат ген C1, то уничтожаться будут только клетки с этим геном, а лимфоциты, содержащие C2, останутся невредимыми. Такой метод позволяет человеку сохранить иммунную систему.
