Хтось пояснює пропуск вчасної вакцинації збитим графіком через інші хвороби, а хтось просто злякався можливої епідемії – так чи інакше, роботи столичним лікарям і медсестрам додалося. Нині дітей безкоштовно вакцинують бельгійською сироваткою, один флакон якої розрахований на двох пацієнтів. Термін придатності препарату спливає в 2019 році, вакцину після відкриття зберігають у холодильнику зі спеціальним температурним режимом не довше 6 годин. Лікарі кажуть, що змушувати нікого не можуть, але створили всі умови та чекають на свідомих батьків і їхніх діток. Батьки, які пропустили або проігнорували своєчасне щеплення, надолужують згаяне. Зараз кількість хворих на кір у столиці сягла 66 осіб. Школи та садочки почали перевіряти дитячі довідки на наявність щеплення. Спалахи фіксують в Одеській, Херсонській областях та на Закарпатті. Ненормальною вважає ситуацію з прогалинами в щепленнях керівник МОЗ Уляна Супрун. "Це є велика трагедія в країні європейській, де ми повинні мати понад 95% щеплення від кору. Є вакцини, вони нормальні, які вакцинуються по цілому світі", - каже вона. Наразі, за словами очільниці системи охорони здоров’я, навіть у найбільш вакцинованих областях рівень далекий від оптимального та тримається на рівні 80%. Тим часом нові випадки захворювання на кір фіксують на Одещині, Херсонщині та Закарпатті. Як повідомлялося, в столиці посилили заходи безпеки через спалах кору, тому тепер невакцинованих дітей протягом місяця не будуть пускати на навчання. Тим часом роботу кабінетів вакцинації продовжать навіть на вихідні дні. У Києві дітей без щеплення від кору збираються не пускати в школи.
