Уполномоченный Верховной Рады по правам человека Валерия Лутковская направила обращение в адрес и.о. министра здравоохранения Уляны Супрун, в котором обращает внимание на целесообразность проведения просветительской работы о важности вакцинации детей против кори. "Считаю, что наряду с закреплением императивной нормы об обязательности проведения прививок, необходимо проводить всестороннюю просветительскую работу, популяризируя таким образом этот вид профилактических мероприятий. На мой взгляд, именно низкая информационная работа среди родителей детей, несвоевременная закупка вакцин для обеспечения проведения иммунизации детей согласно календарю профилактических прививок привели к такой неблагополучной эпидемиологической ситуации", - говорится в обращении В.Лутковской, которое приводит сайт омбудсмена в пятницу. С целью обеспечения права детей на охрану здоровья, реализации их права на получение образования, уполномоченный Верховной Рады считает необходимым безотлагательно начать кампанию проведения просветительской работы среди населения о важности проведения иммунизации детей и возможных последствиях для здоровья в случае отказа родителей от проведения обязательных прививок. Она также просит проинформировать о мерах, предпринимаемых Минздравом, по согласованию норм статей 12 и 15 закона Украины "О защите населения от инфекционных болезней", которыми одновременно предусмотрено как право родителей на отказ от профилактических прививок, так и запрет посещения детских заведений детьми, которые не получили профилактические прививки согласно календарю прививок. Ранее У.Супрун сообщила, что за 11 месяцев 2017 года в Украине зафиксировано 3,382 тыс. случая заболевания корью, в том числе пять летальных случаев (все - в Одесской области).
