"За 2017 в Украине зафиксировали 4782 случая заболевания корью. Больше всего случаев зарегистрировали в Ивано-Франковской области - 1344, Одесской - 1256 и Закарпатской - 637. В Одесской области 5 больных умерли, из них 3 детей. Уже в январе 2018 года в Одесской области умер еще один ребенок. Поэтому, от кори умерли уже 6 человек", - сообщается на сайте Министерства здравоохранения.  По состоянию на 11 января 2018 года в Киеве корью заболели 66 человек, из них 54 - дети. Отмечается, что вспышки кори имеют циклический характер и происходят каждые 5-6 лет. Главная причина вспышек - низкий охват прививками. За 2016 год меньше половины украинских детей получили прививки от кори по графику. С сентября 2017 года, по решению оперативного штаба Минздрава по реагированию на ситуацию с корью в Украине, продолжаются усиленные меры по иммунизации, чтобы защитить как можно больше детей. Заболеть корью рискуют как дети, не имеющие прививки, так и взрослые, которые в свое время не получали вакцинацию или не болели корью. У взрослых корь обычно имеет гораздо более тяжелое течение. Наиболее уязвимыми категориями являются также медицинские работники, не имеющие прививки, учителя, все работники детских и учебных заведений.  Перечень противопоказаний к вакцинации КПК по мировым стандартам не включает легкие простуды с температурой до 38 °С. Вакцинацию не делают, если есть высокий риск серьезной реакции и при состояниях, когда иммунный ответ на введенную вакцину не сформируется.  К противопоказаниям относятся: острое заболевание, сопровождающееся температурой, выше 38,5 °С, серьезная аллергическая реакция (анафилактический шок) на предыдущую дозу вакцины известна аллергическая реакция на один из компонентов вакцины (например, на желатин, неомицин, куриный белок и т.д. ). А также заболевания и состояния организма, при которых после введения вакцины иммунитет может не сформироваться (например, в условиях химиотерапии у онкологических больных, при употреблении больших доз стероидных гормонов, при употреблении лекарств, подавляющих иммунитет, при СПИДе). Вакциной УПК не прививают беременных, ведь она содержит живые вирусы. Прививки против кори необходимо сделать на этапе планирования беременности. Корь - одна из главных причин детской смертности в мире. По данным Всемирной организации здравоохранения, ежегодно в мире 30-40 миллионов болеют корью, более 800 000 умирают от самой инфекции и ее осложнений. Это означает 314 смертей в день, 13 смертей каждый час. Заболевания корью может иметь тяжелое течение. Инкубационный период кори составляет 6-21 дней. Далее начинается период заболевания с такими симптомами: высокая температура, головная боль, насморк, сухой кашель, увеличение лимфоузлов, воспаление слизистой оболочки глаз (слезотечение, светобоязнь, гнойные выделения), понос и рвота. На 4-5 день болезни появляется красная сыпь, которая начинается с кожи головы и лица, а затем распространяется на все тело. Болезнь с симптомами длится до 4 недель и более. Больше информации о ситуации с корью и о необходимых действиях в случае заболевания размещен на сайте Министерства здравоохранения.  Напомним, за два дня, 10 и 11 января, от кори привито 2 тыс. 223 киевлян, среди них как взрослые, так и дети. Ранее исполняющий обязанности министра здравоохранения Украины Ульяна Супрун заявляет, что в Украине эпидемии кори нет.
