Одесская областная государственная администрация просит Министерство здравоохранения дополнительно выделить региону 12 тыс. вакцин от кори. Об этом во время совещания 23 января заявил глава ОГА Максим Степанов, призвав жителей региона сделать прививки от кори своим детям. «Ваши дети не должны болеть и умирать от кори. Все, что нужно сделать, — это прививка. Ни одного осложнения от прививки не зарегистрировано. Мы завезли еще 5 тыс. доз в регион. Но нам не хватает еще 12 тыс. доз — мы обратились, чтобы Министерство здравоохранения Украины доставило их в Одесскую область», — сказал чиновник. Он также заявил, что необходимо провести вакцинацию от дифтерии, которая «еще страшнее, чем корь». По словам Степанова, он обратился в Министерство здравоохранения с письмом, в котором просит обеспечить одесский регион противодифтерийной сывороткой или дать возможность Одесской области закупить ее самостоятельно. «Дифтерия — еще более опасное заболевание, чем корь, у нее смертность 50 процентов», — подчеркнул губернатор, который по образованию — медик. Напомним, по данным департамента здравоохранения Одесской обладминистрации, только за последнюю неделю заболеваемость корью в регионе выросла почти на 30 процентов. Всего с начала года выявлено 265 больных корью, из них 160 — дети. С начала года из-за кори в Украине умерли три человека — двое детей и один взрослый человек. Все случаи произошли в Одесской области.
