Американские ученые заявили, что нашли эффективное средство от рака
Эффективное средство от рака, способное победить болезнь без побочных эффектов, нашли американские исследователи из джорджтаунского Онкологического центра. Об этом свидетельствует информация, обнародованная учеными на MedicalXpress. По информации медиков, сочетание препаратов, препятствующих формированию новых сосудов, с иммуностимуляторами дает позитивный результат в борьбе с раком. Исследователи заявляют, что препарат акситиниб останавливает формирование новых кровеносных сосудов, активно идущее в злокачественных опухолях. В тоже время, иммуномодулирующий агент (пембролизумаб), являющийся ингибитором контрольных точек иммунитета, уже одобрен для лечения нескольких видов рака. Ранее ученым уже удавалось соединить подобные препараты, но такие соединения оказывались крайне вредными для организма человека. Однако, как утверждают ученые из Джорджтауна, их методика уже успешно опробована на 52 пациентах с раком почки. Исследования показали большую безопасность метода в сравнении с аналогичными. У более чем 90% пациентов зафиксировали улучшение состояния, а период, когда не наблюдалось ухудшения, превысил 20 месяцев.
