Anti-corruption agency issues order to Klitschko due to violations at Kyiv city administration
The National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP) has issued an order to Head of Kyiv City State Administration (KCSA) Vitali Klitschko with respect to KCSA officials due to the violation of the requirements of the legislation on ethical conduct, prevention and settlement of the conflict of interests. A statement posted on the NACP's page on Facebook on Thursday says that after the checks conducted at KSCA, a number of violations of the requirements of the law on preventing corruption were recorded. "In particular, KCSA's anti-corruption program was not approved on time, the possibility of making reports on corruption through the official website of the body was not ensured, and the decision was made to appoint two people to posts that foresee the holding of a responsible or particularly responsible position, without conducting a special check," the statement reads. In addition, it was established during the checks that KCSA had not informed NACP about 37 cases of non-submission and untimely submission of income declarations regarding civil servants who work or worked there.
