The next court hearing in the Sushchenko case will be held at the Moscow City Court on April 25. Feygin called on Russian President Vladimir Putin to facilitate the exchange of his client, Ukrainian journalist Roman Sushchenko, who is being tried in Moscow on trumped-up espionage charges. The lawyer is also famous for defending Ukrainian political prisoners Nadia Savchenko, Mustafa Dzhemilev, and Ilmi Umerov. Feygin told UNIAN that the "political" case itself, the ongoing trial and everything related is the result of strained relations between the two countries.
