Szczerski said the presidents agenda for the five-day visit which starts on Saturday is the Polish-Australian Energy Forum, which Duda will open, "political talks with major politicians in both countries", the signing of "contracts and bilateral documents" on defence cooperation and other issues, and meetings with the countries Polish communities.
Officials from the Polish defence ministry will accompany Duda to Australia and "we assume that the effect of the talks will be the signing a letter of intent to purchase, Adelaide-type missile frigates - Australian and US made guided missile warships - which would strengthen the Polish Navy," Krzysztof Szczerski said.

During his stay in Sydney, Duda will also attend the opening of a trade office of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH) and meet with start-up entrepreneurs and young businessmen operating in Australia. (vb)
