“We will certainly fight and win the right budget for Poland, for Central European countries," Morawiecki told reporters after meeting his visiting Czech counterpart Andrej Babiš in Warsaw.
Morawiecki said that Poland and the Czech Republic had a common position on work on the multi-year post-2020 EU budget.
He added: "Our interests must… be taken into account and our position in Brussels is unchanged: the Common Agricultural Policy, funds for agriculture, road development funds, railway development funds and all structural funds must be maintained for the benefit of countries catching up with Western Europe."
