Next up for the top-seeded Polish-Brazilian pair is the winner of a match between Spain’s Pablo Carreno Busta and Guillermo Garcia-Lopez and a Japanese-German team of Ben Mclachlan and Jan-Lennard Struff.
Before coming to Melbourne, Kubot and Melo won the doubles at the Sydney International tennis tournament in Australia.
